I have recently taken on the position of “Coordinator” at the Seacoast Professional Development Center in Exeter, NH. My job requires me to do a variety of tasks at this facility that provides educationally enhancing experiences with professional development opportunities for teachers in an effort to enhance curriculum, instruction and assessment.
As the sole employee, my duties include everything from budgeting and marketing to training and creating contracts. There is never a dull moment here at the SPDC. My goal (as corny as it sounds) is to make a difference in the world and more specifically in the lives of children.

My career began 25 years ago in the insurance industry as a licensed property/casualty agent and customer service representative, but after raising my kids, felt the need to touch lives in a more meaningful way. While completing a BS in Business Management, I worked as a school administrative assistant and para-professional. Once I completed my degree, I became a certified computer technology educator, taught at the middle school level and went on to pursue a graduate degree in Educational Leadership. I am certified as a trainer for Intel, SmartBoard and Promethean Boards and am always looking to expand my horizons!

I currently live in NH, but grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and visit family there and in Madison and Milwaukee often. My husband and I are new empty nesters with two kids in college. I reside in the home of my cat, Dagget along with a few other well-loved pets.

I am thrilled with the opportunity to work with all of you and can’t wait to blast off!
